Ana's first memory is cracking the tops off Molson Export, age 4, behind her father’s bar. When your earliest experience is keeping the population of St. Catherine’s well oiled, there is a certain inevitability to a career that has led to her being one of Canada’s most respected and well-known cocktail bartenders. A leading authority on sherry, she has also competed in and won national competitions. From late night snack bars to dive bars, she has the well-rounded resume of a seasoned professional, but has specialized in making some of the best cocktails in Toronto for three years as the bar manager at Bar Raval, the all-day-and-night temple to Spanish food and drink.
