Chef Pâtissier Chris Kwok shares his passion and story with diners through his unique and innovative culinary skills. His creation of food is well known to be delicate yet with a strong character. He brings his enthusiasm and dedication to Cluny Bistro, one of the top French restaurants in Toronto located in the heart of the Distillery District, where he utilizes his creativity in delivering a fun and exciting experience for Toronto dessert lovers.
Chef Kwok has travelled and worked in various hotels and fine dining restaurants in Canada from the west coast to the east. He helped restaurants open new pastry kitchen in various locations. He is also the opening pastry chef of Cluny Bistro where he currently works. He represented as the pastry chef of the national Culinary Team Canada and won gold in Cold Show - Salon Culinaire Mondial in Basel in 2013. He will also be joining Team Canada’s east coast team and compete in the Culinary Olympics this year in Germany.
He believes that cooking is living. It is through passion, effort, background, and different life events that make the food creation and presentation different from one cook to another. “There is a story behind every dish,” says Chef Kwok.
