Kristin has dedicated her legal career to access to justice issues for over 20 years.  She has assumed many roles to assist vulnerable populations exercise their legal rights.  She had her own private practice for several years, then worked at the Refugee Law Office representing refugees and immigrants in detention for a decade.  She also worked at Community Legal Education Ontario to develop training workshops for service providers working with immigrant women and survivors of domestic violence.  She was a clinical instructor at Downtown Legal Services, legal clinic at the U of T and is currently the Sr. Refugee Law Trainer with Legal Aid Ontario. She loves to read, bake and ride her bike.
