Tannis Baker

Tannis Baker is the co-founder of Food Tourism Strategies Inc., bringing her combined knowledge of culinary, tourism, beverage-alcohol and education to the Alberta-based national consulting firm.

Recognized as one of the 50 Most Influential Albertans by Alberta Venture Magazine, Tannis and her FTS partner, Rheannon Green, have been nominated for and won several awards, including a Travel Alberta Alto Award for Collaborative Marketing, and a Canadian Tourism Award (TIAC) for Best Culinary Experience.

With a passion for growing and sharing the local food scene, Tannis is an Executive Committee member for Alberta Open Farm Days, a tourism and hospitality educator, and a former Executive Director of the Alberta Culinary Tourism Alliance.
